Welcome to the ONLY Black Fashion Tour in Harlem! This unique New York City shopping tour will take you on a journey through Black History, using the lens of local style! Each boutique we visit represents a different decade in Harlem’s history- starting from the 1920s to today. Together, we’ll shop the same clothing lines as Biggie and Beyonce! We’ll visit Black-owned boutiques and discover your new favorite up and coming designer! And we’ll experience a culture and community that continues to revolutionize the fashion industry! In a world of fast fashion, this tour celebrates clothing that is both diverse and ethical. It is why we’ve consciously partnered with local, minority-owned, small businesses who value size inclusivity, hand craftsmanship, and one of a kind, customizable designs. Let us take you on a cultural expedition of Harlem’s dynamic fashion scene!

Since we can’t go outside, let’s look within…OUR CLOSETS! Welcome to what I call a Mindful Closet Audit. During this virtual experience, I will guide you on how to not only be present with the clothing that you already own, but also how to mindfully release those pieces that no longer serve the person you have become and would like to be. We will go a step further than Marie Kondo’s process of asking “Does it bring me joy?” to ask the deeper question “Does it fit the (style) story I’d like to tell?”.
Using my background as a fashion designer, educator and enthusiast, I have crafted a series of exercises that will help reintegrate and reset the relationship between your body, soul and style choices. Together we will create a manageable framework that you can use to consciously design the wardrobe of your dreams. This pandemic has been really scary for all of us, join me and let’s try to find the silver (coat😝) lining in this gift of a pause from our regular schedules and uninspired style ruts. Group consultations take place at 2pm on designated days ($25/person), while private ones are available at 4pm ($75/person).
During group sessions, I will not have enough time to act as a personal stylist or conduct a complete closet overhaul and makeover. But I promise to provide you with the tools necessary to do just that on your own- in a way that is not too intimidating or overwhelming. For a more personal, hands-on audit, please consider booking a private consultation. 😉
